211  211 offers access critical need services including food, clothing, and shelter, physical and mental health resources, drug and alcohol intervention and rehabilitation, support for the elderly, employment support including job training and transportation assistance, information on child care, recreation programs, and where to volunteer.  United Way of Ventura County, Interface Children Family Services, and First 5 Ventura County have formed a partnership in support of 2-1-1 service in Ventura County. InterfaceInterface addresses the multifaceted needs of families through our core program areas: mental health, youth and family strengthening, family violence intervention, 2-1-1 information and referral, training and technical assistance.  Interface is expanding its Family Resource Centers, designed to provide family support, domestic violence intervention, outreach, youth activities, prevention and counseling services within economically challenged communities.

Ventura County Heath Care Agency Strives to provide high quality preventive care and treatment for the indigent, uninsured and others unable to secure health care services.  The Health Care Agency oversees the daily operations of: Ventura County Medical Center, Santa Paula Hospital, Clinics, Public Health, Behavioral Health , Emergency Medical Services, Medical Examiner's Office

 

 

 

 HSA

Ventura County Human Services Agency  The County of Ventura Human Services Agency provides public services that promote self-sufficiency, health and wellbeing. These programs ensure the protection of children, the elderly, and dependent adults, and provide a safety net for individuals and families who need assistance with basic necessities, such as food, housing and health care. Additionally, HSA helps people secure employment through education, training, job search skills, and job placement.
