The Rotarians of Oxnard, along with invited family and friends, have volunteered to execute building a teaching garden at the FOOD Share warehouse located at 4156 Southbank Road, Oxnard.

Rotary members will help with various aspects of building a teaching garden which include planting, building growing boxes, and setting pavers on a large strip directly in front of the FOOD Share warehouse. This teaching garden will be used to teach volunteers and any one interested in learning how to grow edible produce for themselves and the hungry. FOOD Share has enlisted the landscape architect and volunteer, Elizabeth Ralston to design the plan for the project.
Rotarians will be provided a landscape plan, timeline, work plan and list of resources needed to execute the project.
