MACY’S HOSTS ANNUAL COMMUNITY SHOPPING DAYS

Community Shopping Day is an all-day shopping event that supports local non-profit organizations. Local charities including (list a few) will participate in this shopping day of special discounts while raising money for their causes. Participating charities will sell $10 tickets to the event and keep all proceeds.

"Macy«s believes in giving back to the communities in which we live and work, and the people who have supported us over the years. We're proud to host Community Shopping Days and provide a fun way for local non-profits to raise money for their organizations,” said John Gorham, Regional Director of Stores for Macy's Southwest.

Community Shopping Day ticket holders will be entitled to 10 - 20% off discounts throughout the store and a chance to win a $500 Macy«s shopping spree. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 on Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 10 am to 9 pm. Customers will enjoy a full roster of in-store entertainment, cosmetics happenings, and fun throughout the store.  At each location participating non-profit organizations will be providing additional events and entertainment.
