FOOD Share receives proclamation from County Board of Supervisors

On September 9th, the County Board of Supervisors presented FOOD Share with a proclamation in recognition of HUNGER ACTION MONTH, a nationwide call to action to bring awareness to the issue of hunger in America and Faith for FOOD Share, a collaboration of support with the faith community in Ventura County.

 

There to receive the award was Jewel Pedi, Community and Governmental Relations Director, Fran McNeill Interim President and CEO and Craig Skeels, Board Chair.

 

FOOD Share has been serving the Ventura County community for thirty years and our mission is to feed and nourish the hungry. 

 

Please join in our mission to provide individuals and families with access to the quality and quantity of food that they need to maintain and sustain a healthy and decent quality of life.

 

Food is one of life's basic needs and a need that no one should go without.
