Volunteers Needed

Gleaning volunteers are needed here at FOOD Share, Ventura County’s Food Bank

Help your county food bank provide fresh produce for the hungry in the county Join FOOD Share’s gleaner teams and help rescue food in the fields and back yards of participating local farmers and homeowners.

We need volunteers to go out into farms, fields, orchards and backyards to pick seasonal fruit and produce that is then distributed to the hungry in Ventura County.

Gleaners meet at the designated site around 8am, will pick between 8:30 and 10am, and then return to FOOD Share.
