Annual Golf Classic benefits FOOD Share

This year the Annual Chumash Golf Classic honored three local charities with the $100,000 proceeds of their Chumash Golf Classic, Chairman’s Dinner and Silent Auction. 

The Community Action Commission being local to the Santa Ynez Valley received 50% of the proceeds with the two food banks each receiving $25,000.  Especially now with the need for food being so great this gift will be used to purchase much need protein products for our hungry neighbors. 

We thank the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians and the Chumash Casino Resort for their wonderful and strong support of FOOD Share and all our efforts to feed the hungry in our county. We applaud and appreciate all their efforts to assist the less fortunate and feel blessed to have been chosen to receive their support once again this year.
