Taste of Home Cooking School & Showcase Expo to Help FOOD Share

Camarillo, CA- October 9, 2009-The Taste of Home Cooking School & Showcase Expo on November 4, 2009 will help feed the hungry. One dollar of every ticket purchased will go to Ventura County’s food bank, FOOD Share.

Every dollar donated to FOOD Share provides $7 worth of food to a family or individual in need. With an expected attendance of 1,600 and one dollar of every ticket donated to FOOD Share, Taste of Home Cooking School and Showcase Expo attendees will help FOOD Share provide approximately $11,200 worth of food to the hungry before the holiday season.

“Every dollar is a big deal during the holidays,” explains Bonnie Weigel, FOOD Share President and CEO. “At the Taste of Home Cooking School, attendees will be inspired to cook new recipes for their families and at the same time will be helping feed families throughout the FOOD Share community.”
