Snack Attack Program
FOOD Share supplies healthy after school and summer program snacks to an average of 2,100 children a day at 13 Snack Attack sites throughout Ventura County. Many children in our county go without nutritious breakfasts or dinners. Hungry children are more frequently ill, have learning and concentration problems, and are at risk for other developmental, emotional, and physical complications. Public school programs and FOOD Share's Snack Attack after school and summer program work together to feed our children when working poor families (those who have multiple jobs but are unable to meet family needs). Money goes to rent, basic utilities, and medical care, resulting in inadequate food and nutrition.
Help us feed our children by donating to the Snack Attack Program.
