Volunteer
By becoming a part of our volunteer family you’ll play an important role in feeding 267,000+ friends and neighbors each year. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization and the heart behind our mission to lead the fight against hunger in Ventura County.
Volunteer opportunities for individuals (12 yrs & older only) and groups are available Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, with some evening and weekend shifts also available. Shift times and locations vary depending on the opportunity.
Volunteer roles include packing food boxes, rescue food sorting, bread sorting, gleaning, gardening in the Senior Nutrition Garden, boxing fresh produce, and working our College Park drive-thru distribution.
